The
Baldwin-Whitehall School District has joined a statewide public
outreach campaign designed
to promote the accomplishments, accountability and value of
Pennsylvania's public schools.
Opera
Performance
One of our sixth
graders at Harrison Middle School, Connor
Doran, performed in the Opera Theater production
of Amahl and the Night Visitors. Connor had
the lead role of Amahl, a shepherd boy whose
crippled leg is healed when he encounters
three kings on their way to visit a newborn
child. Connor is a talented singer, conductor,
and pianist who sings with the Children’s
Festival Chorus of Pittsburgh and the Pittsburgh
Opera. Connor is also the accompanist for
all of the HMS holiday concerts.
