The Teen Center is being offered to all students of J.E.
Harrison Middle School. The goal of the Teen Center is to
provide a safe, drug-free, after-school activity in which
students can create new friendships and explore interests
in supervised activities. Scheduled activities will include
a dance, bingo, volleyball, basketball, and movies. Refreshments,
such as pizza, nachos, soda, and candy, will be available.
Make sure you bring your appetite and a few dollars!
Regular admission is $3.00. Students
must have a ticket and their Student I.D. Card to enter the
Teen Center.
Several activities and attractions are available to interested
children for a minimal additional cost. Students should tune-in
to the daily announcements for details.
Parents are reminded that all school
rules apply while the children are in attendance. A list of
all Teen Center Guidelines is printed on the reverse of this
sheet. The appropriateness of student dress has become a concern.
Students that do not meet the district policy on dress code
will be asked to change or will not be admitted. Continued
defiance of guidelines will result in suspension of future
Teen Center privileges.
Parents are also encouraged to follow
the drop-off and pick-up procedures to facilitate the movement
of a large number of cars through the parking lot in a safe
manner.
