of the Week |
| The Student of the Week
program at J. E. Harrison Middle School is run by
the Positive Communication Committee. Each week
the 10 Core Teams, four in sixth grade, three in
seventh grade and three in eighth grade, plus the
Physical Education Team, the Music Team and the
Encore Team nominate students to be Students of
the Week. These students possess a positive character
trait. The traits are chosen from those studied
during Homebase activities. Each Student of the
Week will have a congratulatory letter sent home
to their parents or guardians, will have a candy
bar and a certificate delivered to their homebase,
and will have their name displayed in the library
with the other chosen students. Students can be
chosen as Student of the Week only once each school
year. |
